Empowering Early Detection of Cancer for a Healthier Tomorrow

What we offer

Bone marrow Comprehensive study with reflex 3 IHC marker(Bone marrow aspiration +Trephine biopsy)

This comprehensive bone marrow assessment combines aspiration and trephine biopsy to examine cell morphology, tissue architecture, and cellularity. If initial findings warrant, immunohistochemical staining with 3 markers is performed to further characterize cell types and aid in diagnosing various blood disorders and cancers.

Specimen Type:

EDTA CBC , Bone marrow aspirate slides and trephine biopsy in 10% formaline / paraffin block

TAT:

Same day verbal reporting of aspirate if sample received by 2:00 PM, Final report 4 working days including trephine

Bone marrow aspiration

Bone marrow aspiration is a procedure where a small amount of the liquid portion of bone marrow is extracted using a needle. This sample is examined to analyze the types and numbers of blood cells present, assess their maturity, and identify any abnormal cells. It is used to diagnose various blood disorders, including leukemia, lymphoma, and anemias.

Specimen Type:

EDTA CBC, Bone marrow aspirate slides

TAT:

Same day verbal reporting of aspirate if sample received by 2:00 PM, Final report 2 working days

Trephine Biopsy

A trephine biopsy is a procedure where a small, cylindrical sample of bone marrow is removed using a hollow needle. This sample provides a detailed view of the bone marrow’s architecture, cellularity, and any abnormalities present. It’s crucial for diagnosing various blood disorders and cancers, including leukemia, lymphoma, and myelodysplastic syndromes.

Specimen Type:

Trephine biopsy in 10% formaline/ Paraffin Block

TAT:

4 working days

Leukemia / Lymphoma Flow cytometry Panel

This test uses a panel of antibodies to identify and quantify specific cell populations in blood, bone marrow, or other body fluids. It helps diagnose and classify different types of leukemias and lymphomas, assess disease progression, and monitor response to treatment.

Specimen Type:

EDTA WB/Bone marrow

TAT:

Same day verbal reporting if sample received by 2:00 PM, Final report next working day

Bone marrow aspiration +Trephine + Flow leukemia/lymphoma panel

This comprehensive bone marrow assessment combines aspiration of the liquid portion to analyze cell morphology and conduct flow cytometry with a trephine biopsy to examine tissue architecture and cellularity. Additionally, a leukemia/lymphoma flow cytometry panel identifies and quantifies specific cell populations, aiding in the diagnosis and management of hematological malignancies.

Specimen Type:

EDTA CBC+ BM , Bone marrow aspirate slides and trephine biopsy in 10% formaline / paraffin block

TAT:

Same day verbal reporting of aspirate if sample received by 2:00 PM, Final report 4 working days including trephine

Minimal Residual Disease(MRD) Flow cytometry

Minimal Residual Disease (MRD) Flow Cytometry is a highly sensitive test used to detect and quantify small numbers of cancer cells remaining after treatment in blood cancers like leukemia and lymphoma. It uses fluorescently labeled antibodies to identify specific cell surface markers on leukemia/lymphoma cells, even when present in very low numbers. MRD flow cytometry helps assess treatment response, predict relapse risk, and guide further treatment decisions.

Specimen Type:

EDTA whole blood/Bone marrow

TAT:

3 working days
